Take a look at how your collection state evolved with the Aging balance widget, highlighting where you were at different points in time. Learn how your strategy impacted your collection over different periods and adjust it accordingly.
Each bar represents the amounts you were due at the end of each period (including disputed invoices), broken down into aging buckets (due, overdue for less than 30 days, 30 to 60 days, 60 to 90 days, more than 90 days). As well as unapplied amounts (learn more on their impact here). |
Hover your mouse over the period you are interested in to display the breakdown. Note the amounts are always shown in your organization default currency. There is no breakdown by currencies today.
Aging balance calculation
- For each period, the amounts are calculated for the end of the period, i.e. the end of the last day.
- For an ongoing/current period, it is calculated as of now (today).
- When you apply filters to your Analytics report/dashboard, it will be calculated accordingly. The last period will correspond to the end date of the filter, which could be in the past. This is the best way to obtain the aging balance as of a date in the past.

FAQ/Good to know
When clicking the aging bucket, the total of invoices doesn't match the bucket's amount.
When applied Credit Notes have an issue date in the future, they will impact the Aging balance calculation.
This widget logic excludes applied transactions (payments, credit notes, refunds) with an issue date in the future. On the other hand, pre-computed invoice fields (status, aging bucket…) used by the list view take into account those future transactions.
