When you issue invoices with an issue date in the future, they will be displayed in your customer portal if synced into Upflow. But you might not want for them to access it before it's time.
Exclude future invoices
From your Upflow Settings, Customer portal section, enable the following option:
And click Save at the bottom!
These invoices will still be present in your Invoice list view and the customer's invoices, but won't be visible to them in their collection reminders or their customer portal until their issue date is met.
This customer has 7 open invoices in Upflow:
And only 6 visible in their portal, as the most recent's issue date is March, 1st:
