You use one of our native integrations (i.e. NetSuite, Chargebee, Sellsy, etc.) and wish to use/import PDFs from another software than your billing system. Upflow got you covered!
What is this feature for?
You can use our API to upload the correct pdf
files to Upflow. The customer can then download their pdfs from their Upflow portal, and the files will be the ones synced via API, and not your native billing tool.
Example:
Your native integration and billing tool is NetSuite. But you prefer to rely on PDFs generated via Salesforce. You can then set up an API configuration to sync your Salesforce PDFs into Upflow and disregard the PDFs that might be present in NetSuite, even if the PDF is missing from Salesforce.
How does it work?
To enable this feature, head to your Upflow Settings, Invoicing section and enable the following:
- When it is off (default behavior), Upflow will fallback to the native integration pdf (i.e. NetSuite) in case of missing API pdf.
- When it is on, Upflow will not fall back to the native integration pdf in case of missing API pdf. In this situation, the pdf file will not be available on the portal, to avoid showing the wrong one to the customer.
Notes
- This setting is at the organization level.
