Reconcile information between Upflow, Salesforce and your billing tool - ensuring your account management data is always up to date and driving collaboration between your customer-facing and Finance teams!
👉 Your data will be updated every 24 hours at 2:00 AM UTC.
Matching the right information
We reconcile data from both your CRM and your billing tool with your Upflow customers. This feature will thus only work if the Salesforce account ID of your customers are imported into your billing tool as well.
You will find them under a custom field (you can reach out to your IT team if to confirm its name).
Connecting Salesforce to Upflow
All set? You can now jump to your Settings tab - accessible from the bottom-left corner of your platform. Pick the CRM section, and click on Connect.
When doing it for the first time, you must link your Salesforce account to Upflow. To do so, add your domain name in the window that will pop-up when you click on Connect:
💡 Your domain is the part preceding “my.salesforce.com” in your SF account URL.
You will then be asked to authorize the connection (click on Allow), before the following step:
🚨 The fields selected in this step are crucial to synchronize the right data into Upflow.
On the left | On the right |
You need to select the field present in Salesforce that contains your source Account ID (here, Chargebee). Don't hesitate to ask your IT or OPS team to confirm the name if you have a doubt. |
Select "[Source]ID" - in this example, the source of truth is Chargebee, so we'll select Chargebee ID. This could be Netsuite ID, Quickbooks ID, etc.

With this information provided, you will need to choose which elements you want the integration to import:
-
Contacts
- Import the Salesforce TITLE as the Job Title in Upflow
and/or
-
Account managers (assigned users)
- The account owner in Salesforce will be the assigned user in Upflow.
- The integration doesn't support multiple assigned users yet.
Toggle the one(s) you are interested in getting in Upflow, click on continue, and voilĂ ! Your Salesforce account is now synchronized with Upflow, and your information will be updated every 24 hours following certain rules.
You can always update the information to import or not anymore:
đź’ˇ Please note you cannot use two integrations at once to update your contact information. By default, Upflow data will be maintained from your billing tool until you connect your Salesforce account.
đź’ˇ If you disconnect Salesforce from Upflow then at any point decide to reconnect it to your Upflow organization, you will encounter an error if you attempt to reconnect a different Salesforce account.
In this case, contact support@upflow.io so that the previous data can be purged to prevent discrepancies and other unintended behavior.
đź’ˇ You can toggle off the import contacts from your CRM at any time in your Settings section. However, if doing so, also please contact support@upflow.io as the SFDC contact cleaning is not yet automated.
